The winds of my spirit shift governance

My burdens present, yet hope travels through crevices of fortitude

Depletion once a crafty unrecognizable inner mildew

Divine grace set before me the realization, this depletion is a misconceived need

The true need is the redemptive power of Christ, Lord to all

My wholeness dependent on His authoritative guidance

The shifting, the smear of anointing oil graced unto me by the majestic throne

Kingdom oil covering my head like the drizzle of sweet honey

Honey infused with His righteousness

Held in the assuring staying power of supreme continuance

Its nutrients seeping through the layers of my flesh

Reaching deep into the inner coils of my design

Convicting my heart to renounce the splinters of omission

Envisioning a life of granted wisdom cradled in corrective response

Graceful gates of the everlasting open with favor upon my life

My eyes healed from blindness to discerning sight, transforming the display of my countenance

Steps of insecurity moved to a bold march, destination the promised land

My lips now ceased from destructive implore of human capacity

The Holy stamina that embodied David now reposed upon me

21st century goliath's fall before passionate relentless prayer

I rest in gratitude of the Holy Spirit as He reshapes my thoughts

The soft cuddle of accountable love my being once in drought of

Previously subdued, at times suffocated by the alarm of my plight

Now fervent in the wisdom of the true source

A supreme source bringing forth honorable pledge that never stray fidelity

Navigated by the immortal breath of our Lord Almighty

Formerly living in inner dishonor from a once hoarse, shameful voice

Now singing from fruitful vocal cords of praise as I have seen the hope in the coming of the Lord!
